My Music
I have loved music my whole life and now I have begun to learn how to play it. I was first an engineer, then a writer, a college student again, an historian and a novelist. I wrote heartfelt, sometimes poetic, fictional literature, formed Southern Heart publishing and published my stories for a few years. I wrote a stage play and performed it with my wife the summer of 2017.
I had a guitar and used to play chords years ago. So I bought several harmonicas and a concertina. I began playing as a street musician in the squares of the city.
I bought a second guitar, a ukulele and a midi keyboard. Then I bought a digital piano and traded it in after a few weeks for the Yamaha baby grand you see to the left.

Now I am writing love songs.

My purpose here is to share a list of my favorite songs, the ones I have loved and am learning to play and the ones I am beginning to write.
My newest love is the piano, a Yamaha Clavinova baby grand. I also tinker with harmonica, concertina, ukulele and guitar. Unfortunately I cannot sing. So the piano does it best.

Of the songs I have written and am writing, one is a movie theme for the soundtrack of a movie that has not yet been made - Love and Glory. The movie would be based on an historic fictional novel that has been written - Hanna's Promise, A Story of Grace and Hope. I wrote it as my second novel in 2016.
